ORS Preaward - Introduction to Subcontracts / Subawards is designed as an elective for those who are working on maintaining their AGM or RAA (those who have a good foundation in grants management). The class focuses on Duke University Campus processes only. Please do not register for this class if you are from the Med side.

This course is for Campus Grant Managers. Please do not register for this class if you are from the Med side. In this course we will answer the following questions: 1. What is a subrecipient, subaward or vendor? 2. What needs to be done during the proposal submission process? 3. What do Grant Mangers need to do at the time of a new award? 4. What do Grant Mangers do during the course of the subagreement? 5. How is an existing subcontract modified? 6. What can delay an award being issued to the subrecipient? 7. What should be done at Closeout? Learning how to use the ORS website as a resource for information regarding the policies and procedures both at Duke and at sponsoring organizations is the central approach to the workshop.
