Description
This session provides an overview of expense reports and the associated business processes that support their use across Duke. Participants will learn the roles and responsibilities of the employee, the initiator, the department’s TRaC Rep, and the Business Manager in ensuring an efficient and effective departmental process. Participants will explore when each type of expense report is used and best practices for handling a variety of situations. Workflows and strategies for tracking the status of expense reports will also be discussed. Case studies in small breakout groups will provide participants with the opportunity to practice classroom learning. Financial Services charges a $100 no show fee for participants who cancel with less than 48 hours notice or do not show up for class. The fee will be charged to the participant's default cost center.
