This online, on-demand course provides an overall understanding of journal entries (JVs).
Description
This online, on-demand course provides an overall understanding of journal entries (JVs) including how to use debits and credits, as well as how to use the SAP Park G/L Account Document FV50 transaction to initiate and complete an entry. The course also includes other related topics, like changing or displaying parked documents along with reports used to track journal entries. An optional chapter provides information on how to practice initiating and completing a journal entry in a test environment, if desired. This course takes approximately 3 – 4 hours, not including the time needed to practice. You may start and stop as needed until the course is completed. Prerequisite(s): - Introduction to SAP at Duke - Introduction to Duke Accounting and Business Practices - Introduction to Duke General Ledger Accounts - SAP Classes Please note: If you work with federally sponsored projects, watch the SAP Non-salary Cost Transfer Tool Training Video in Duke’s LMS.
