Alaris® Pump module Features

The Alaris® Pump module offers many features and benefits. Several of these are: AutoRestart, KVO Rate Adjust, and Restore.

AutoRestart, if enabled, minimizes nuisance patient-side occlusion alarms caused by momentary kinking of tubing, IV pushes, etc. It allows the system to automatically continue an infusion following detection of a patient-side occlusion, if downstream pressure falls to an acceptable level within a 15 second "Checking Line" period.
